Privacy Policy
PanoPeek for iPhone. Last updated: October 7, 2026.
PanoPeek does not collect any data. There are no accounts, no analytics, no advertising, no tracking and no third-party code. Nothing you view or create in PanoPeek is sent to the developer.
Your pictures
- Photos library. With your permission PanoPeek reads your Photos library on your device to find panoramas and show them. Pictures are never uploaded anywhere. If you choose "Selected Photos", PanoPeek sees only those.
- Folders and files. PanoPeek reads only the folders and files you choose (a card reader, a USB drive, iCloud Drive or a server in Files). It never writes into them.
- What PanoPeek saves. A crop is saved only when you tap ✓, into your Photos library (and, with full Photos access, its "PanoPeek" album). A changed location is written to that picture in your Photos library only when you confirm it; Photos keeps it in sync on your devices like any other change. "Share" sends a crop only where you choose.
- Kept on your device. Settings, the pictures you hid or added to the list, the folders you added and thumbnails stay on your device and are deleted with the app.
Maps and location
- To show a picture's place on a map, to name the place and to search for a place, PanoPeek uses Apple Maps. These requests send the picture's coordinates or your search text to Apple, not to the developer, and are covered by Apple's Privacy Policy.
- Your current location is used only when you tap "My Location" on the map, to center the map. It is not stored or sent to the developer.
iCloud and other cloud storage
If a picture is stored in iCloud, or a file in another cloud service you use in Files, it is downloaded from that service when you open it.
Crash reports
If you turned on "Share With App Developers" in iOS Settings › Privacy & Security › Analytics & Improvements, Apple may share crash reports and anonymous usage statistics with the developer. PanoPeek adds nothing to them.
Your choices
- Allow, limit or turn off access to Photos and to your location at any time in Settings › PanoPeek. PanoPeek keeps working without them: you can open the sample and files.
- Deleting PanoPeek deletes everything it keeps on your device. Crops and place changes you saved are in your Photos library: delete or edit them there.
- The developer keeps no data about you, so there is nothing to request or delete on the developer's side.
Children
PanoPeek collects no data from anyone, including children.
